Nativity Athletics Weather Cancellations: Although CYO does not have a
set policy for weather cancellations, cancellations of games will occur if
CYO believes the weather presents dangerous conditions. It is the policy
for Nativity Athletics to cancel any scheduled practices on days in which
CYO cancels games. In addition, any scheduled practices will be cancelled
on days in which school is closed or there is early dismissal of school due
to weather conditions.
When games or practices are cancelled, the Athletic Directors will notify
all respective coaches and an announcement for cancelled games will be
placed on the CYO website at
The Nativity Athletic Committee is looking for a parent or a couple of
parents who would like to help stripe our soccer field for this year’s up
and coming season beginning approximately from March 10th to May 24th.
Please email Brian Beckman at email@example.com if your talents can be
used to help! Thank you in advance.
The Athletic Committee would like to send out a BIG “THANK YOU” to all those who have volunteered! Julie Aldrich, our Titan Concession Stand Coordinator stated, “We successfully staffed the concession stand this basketball season for 104 home
games! What a tremendous showing of our Nativity community!” We are excited and proud that our Nativity parents, current students, alumni and friends have given of their time and talents to help our Titan Concession Stand. Again, the Athletic program here at Nativity raises funds for all our youth sports with our Annual Golf Outing, which is set for June 14, 2014, and the Titan Concession Stand. All your hard work goes toward CYO fees, new equipment, new uniforms and all that the programs need. Volunteer slots are still available at the following link, as our seasons are still on going. Thank you for all of your help!
There is a NEW mandatory training class for all staff & volunteers that are involved with children in the Archdiocese. Virtus is no longer being offered. Safe & Sacred training is for those NEW folks who have NOT been certified in Virtus. Please go to the Safe & Sacred LINK on our home page for more information.
Thank you for your cooperation and thank you for volunteering.
